Orbital Forgers
From a single world, forge an empire across the stars.
Orbital Forgers is a browser-based 4X idle-strategy game rendered in a low-poly Three.js space diorama. Pick a race, choose your class and traits, and start on a procedurally generated homeworld orbiting a single sun. Manage resources, research technology, scan for planets, send ships to colonize what you find, and leap to new star systems — all while solving the core tension: the farther you expand from your star, the less free power you get.

🪐 Manage Your Colonies
Each planet is a hex-grid colony with local resources — power, ore, alloys, and food. Place buildings strategically, upgrade them through three tiers, manage your population's food satisfaction, and watch your atmosphere visually shift as your industrial footprint grows.

🌌 Explore the Galaxy
Launch satellites to push back the fog of war. Scan rings reveal planet pings — green for habitable, yellow for terraformable, red for barren. Open the star map to see your galaxy: hyperlane networks, sector boundaries, territory bubbles, rival empires lurking in the fog. Double-click a star to warp there.

👽 8 Unique Races
Each race plays fundamentally differently:
- Solari — Sun-worshipping energy specialists with crystalline skin that refracts light into power
- Lithvek — Silicon-based mineral harvesters crystallized in magma chambers, patient and methodical
- Verdani — Plant-like networked consciousness that colonizes worlds by literally growing into them
- Cerebrites — Disembodied neural networks who perceive reality as data streams and unsolved equations
- Ferrokyn — Self-replicating machines that require no food, no sleep, no atmosphere — yet have developed culture
- Dravok — Warlike expansionists from a high-gravity death world. Remarkably, they write excellent poetry
- Qeylar — Merchant caste pacifists who don't conquer worlds — they buy them
- Xelvari — Shape-shifting predators from a lightless rogue planet whose civilization runs on a shadow economy

⚔️ 6 Classes That Change Your Start
- Pioneer — First boots on the ground. Cheap colony ships, fast expansion
- Industrialist — Production is progress. Extra refineries, strong mid-game
- Scientist — Knowledge before expansion. Cheap tech, early exploration
- Warlord — Peace through superior firepower. Ships and turrets from day one
- Magnate — The market provides. Start flush with Flux and trade contacts
- Syndicate — The shadow economy. Generate Flux through crime, pirate immunity
🔬 Deep Systems Under the Hood
- Tech Tree — 6 branches, 19 technologies across energy, exploration, biology, military, commerce, and covert ops
- Crime System — Per-planet crime levels from negligible to lawless, generating black-market Flux at the cost of stability
- Rival Empires — AI rivals with diplomacy, tension ladders, trade proposals, scout incursions, and escalating crises
- Void Exchange — Interstellar stock market with fluctuating commodity prices
- Ship Fleet — Colony ships, mining drones, terraformers, cargo haulers, and the legendary Ark Ship
- Space Stations — Build reputation, unlock trade routes, expand your economic reach
- 36 Traits — Point-buy system with positive and negative traits for deep build customization

🎵 Procedural Audio
Every click, every launch, every discovery — all sound effects are generated procedurally via Web Audio API. No audio files. Pure synthesis.
